Yoshi Falls

Yoshi Falls is a track in Mario Kart DS. It is the second track of the Mushroom Cup. Yoshi Falls has jungle-themed music, a jungle-like look, and a gigantic Yoshi egg in the middle of the track and pond. It is a very short track that is sort of like a distorted oval. There are waterfalls which can be driven through or the bridge which goes over the waterfall. There are three in all. The waterfalls push you down and if you don't go through fast enough, you fall. The first waterfall is usually crossed by CPU racers, the second waterfall usually pushes you off the edge before you get to the end, and the final waterfall has item boxes flowing down. The second waterfall is the longest. Near and on the last bridge, there are boost pads. This is a very simple track, although there are not many railings, which allow racers to knock each other off. Missions 1-3 and 3-4 are held here. In 1-3, Yoshi has to destroy all 10 item boxes. In 3-4, Peach has to race him to the finish. This course belongs to Yoshi in the Egg 1.

This track returns as a retro stage in Mario Kart Wii. It is the second track of the Shell Cup. On the Wii, the waterfalls flow faster but you can use mushrooms to go through them. There are also ramps on the last bridge. The track belongs to Yoshi in the Zip Zip and the Super Blooper.
