Tart Top is a battle stage in Mario Kart DS. It has a dessert-like theme, similar to Cookie Land from Mario Kart: Double Dash!!. The stage is a circle in shape with a big mound of cream in the middle. The only Item Boxes are above the mound and are accessible only by boost pad. There are also cream puffs scattered around the course and will cover a player's screen if bumped into, similar to the Blooper item. Because of the raised edge, it is impossible to shoot an item off the stage. Mission 5-6 takes place here, where Yoshi has to collect 18 coins.
