The Poltergust 4000 is one of Luigi's karts in Mario Kart DS, the others being Standard LG and Streamliner. This kart is the upgraded version of the Poltergust 3000 in Luigi's Mansion built by Professor E. Gadd. An upgraded version of this can be found as the main weapon in Luigi's Mansion (Dark Moon) or Luigi's Mansion 2.
Stats
Luigi's Poltergust 4000 is one of four ideal snaking karts; the others are the Egg 1, Dry Bomber, and ROB-BLS. This kart has high speed, acceleration and handling, but low drift, weight, and low items. These stats make the Poltergust ideal for snaking in the early-game, where the only other viable option is the Egg 1. Although its off-road is not as strong as the light karts, making it harder to PRB and giving less room for error, is still fairly popular for having an excellent compromise between speed and handling compared to other karts.
