Luigi's Mansion is a track in Mario Kart DS, where it is the final race in the Mushroom Cup. This course is also the only Luigi course in the entire Mario Kart series that is not a circuit.

Layout

While a small part of the track goes through the mansion, most of the track actually takes place on the mansion grounds. Three 90 degree turns inside the mansion and various winding curves outside create plenty of opportunities to drift, and the only straightaway on the track is too narrow to allow for easy snaking. Many paintings appear on the wall and chandeliers drop from the ceiling.

The race starts in the front yard with the mansion in sight. You make a small zig-zag before entering the mansion by driving up a few steps. The first room you see is the Foyer, which is the same room you start in in the GameCube game. Then you'll drive down into the basement, making a 270 turn to the right through a long hallway containing portraits of Boos. In the basement there are 2 chandeliers that drop when the player nears them, and a table in the middle of the room. You will exit the room through a cobblestone tunnel, into the graveyard. Leaving the graveyard results in entering Boo Woods, a swamp with possessed trees that walk around and can get in your way.

This is not a Wii game, so, no Mii's are there, if it were, all King Boo's would have been replaced with Mii's.

Missions

Missions 1-6 and 2-4 are held here. You play as Luigi in both. The first one is where Luigi has to drive backward out of the mansion. The second one is where Luigi has to destroy 5 moving Item Boxes. The course's staff ghost uses Luigi in the Poltergust 4000.

Mario Kart 7

Luigi's Mansion reappears in Mario Kart 7 as the last course of the Shell Cup. A glider ramp was added in Boo Woods. The staff ghost kart setup is Luigi driving an Egg 1 with Monster tires and a Super Glider.
