The Flame Rider is a unlockable bike in Mario Kart 8.
It is supposedly the form of a motorcycle with flames on the side. The character's logo is found on the headlights, but it seen on the rear of the bike as well. The engine on the bottom of the bike has a Fire Flower, two Mushroom pistons, and a ? mark engraved on it.
It increases acceleration and handling, but decreases weight and traction. Its stats are identical with the Pipe Frame, Wild Wiggler, Standard Bike, W 25 Silver Arrow, Varmint, and City Tripper.
