First-Person View is a feature that only appears in Mario Kart 7. This allows the player to see the tracks up close. The feature can be used by pressing Up on the Nintendo 3DS D-Pad. While in First-Person View, players can see the character's emblem on the steering wheel and by tilting the console, they can steer the kart in this view.
