Mr. Sonny Resetti, or simply Resetti, is a bad-tempered mole in the Animal Crossing series. Up until Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Mr. Resetti is widely known for his loud and abrasive demeanor where he would harshly rebuke players who forget to save before turning their game systems off or intentionally press the Reset button on their console, causing him to get even angrier and the player having to sit through his rather prolonged speeches. He also has a calmer older brother named Don Resetti.
For that reason, Mr. Resetti makes cameos in other Nintendo games like Super Smash Bros. Brawl as an annoying Assist Trophy, where his dialogue box serves as an obstruction and damages players with explosives should they hit him. Similarly, he is a disruptive obstacle in the Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe track Animal Crossing.

Villager's about to get some payback by nailing Resetti with a Green Shell!
Mr. Resetti takes the role of the usual Monty Moles on the Animal Crossing track except for winter, digging underground with his pickaxe and popping out. Running into him will cause you to spin out, as expected. You can also hit him with a shell or smash into him with a Super Star. Give him what he deserves!
