A Stamp is a collectible that can currently be obtained in Mario Kart 8 for completing certain tasks and challenges. They were originally used to customize and decorate Miiverse posts, but do to this service's shutdown in late 2017, they now do almost nothing.

There are a total of 100 stamps in the game, and they can be unlocked by meeting certain requirements. Excluding DLC, there is at least one stamp for each playable character, track, and item.

Mario Kart 8

There is a total of 100 total stamps available in Mario Kart 8 that can be used to customize Miiverse messages. Players start the game with 28 stamps, and must unlock the other 62 by performing certain tasks. There are 30 character stamps to collect by completing a Grand Prix as each of the playable characters and 32 course stamps that each unlock when players defeat the Time Trial race against a staff ghost of a particular course.

In addition, ten more stamps were added with the version 4.0 update. However, beating a Staff Ghost on a DLC course or using a DLC character to complete a Grand Prix will not unlock a stamp.
