Bouncing Note

A Boucning Note making his music!

Bouncing Notes (also called Music Notes) are giant, black, rubbery, bouncy, spheres with musical notes attached to their head that appear in Mario Kart 7 in Music Park. They bounce periodically to the beat of the music rifting the ground each time they land. This can help players preform tricks. The Bouncing Notes while helpful can also be a big hazard as they can flatten you if you are underneath them so be careful. On the final lap, they bounce more frequently allowing you to do more tricks but this also increases the hazard of being crushed. Gliding into a Bouncing Note will stop you cold and spoil your glide in the long run.

Bouncing Notes return in the remake of Music Park found in Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. They behave the same as they did in Mario Kart 7 however this time, their eyes look more menacing. There are also smaller Bouncing Notes that watch the race now.

Trivia![]

  • The face of a Bouncing Note slightly resembles the face of Lakitu's cloud.
