A Bell is the main currency seen in the Animal Crossing series. They are found in Mario Kart 8's DLC track Animal Crossing, replacing the customary Coins.

Usage

Mario Kart 8

Similar to regular Coins, Bells help out in unlocking karts. They are just substituting in for the regular Mario Coins because, hey, its an Animal Crossing track. Why not?

Animal Crossing

Bells (Animal Crossing)

A Villager surrounded by Bells. Bitch gonna get rich.

Bells are handy in buying anything, from clothes to furniture to fossils, etc. You can earn them by digging, selling, or robbing other Villagers.

Trivia!

  • The Bell Cup and Super Bell Subway are both named for Bell cash.
  • Isabelle's head is shaped like a sack of balls *ahem* I mean Bells. Her name is not coincidental, either.
  • Generally, in the Animal Crossing games, Bells are usually clumped together in sacks instead of solitary coins. However, you can single one out by itself if you want.
    • It's also worthy to note that a single Bell by itself has almost no monetary value. It's about 5 cents in OUR currency.
